Destroying Yokes - Hope and Help for People Who Struggle with Addiction
There are many people in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area who are struggling with drug, alcohol, and other addictions who often shy away from churches because they feel like black sheep and are not always received with love and compassion. ClearWay Apostolic Church of Grand Rapids is a safe place for those who need help overcoming addictions to come and learn how God’s love and his instructions for living break the yoke of bondage to substance and alcohol abuse.
This Christian drug and alcohol support group meets every Saturday at 1:00pm at ClearWay Apostolic Church. The group leader is Sister Eileen Alexander, a former addict with an awesome testimony and a heart for people who want God’s help but don’t know where to start. Meet with people who understand your experience and learn how the word of God can change your life. I did’nt see a place to ask for prayer so Iam putting it here I need prayer of agreement that the on campus housing will be released they originally said there was nothing but God told me to go back and ask again and do not stop till Iget an answer keep telling your story and tell them all say to say I did thatand Ifound out today it will be opening back up and Ihave the application to fill out I will be finishing that up tonight,pray thet the next few nights that Ihave to stay in the hotel are taken care of and that I have aplace to go till it is ready on Mon,or Wensday.You all pray for me as I pray for you and together we will win 2010.
